Is SPECTRIA lie detection?
No. SPECTRIA measures delivery, how a message lands, and makes no claim about honesty, intent, personality or ability. It does not infer what someone is thinking, and it is not a screening tool.
What does SPECTRIA actually measure?
Four channels from a single recording: words (structure, hedging, filler, sentence length), voice (pace, pitch range, pauses), face (expression, and whether a smile reached the eyes), and body (gesture, posture, openness). These resolve into five dimensions, clarity, conviction, energy, warmth and confidence, and one congruence score.
What is the benchmark compared against?
The strongest communicator already on your team, not a textbook ideal. Until enough colleagues have been analysed, you are compared against your own best previous recording instead, which is useful from your second analysis onward.
Who can see my analysis?
Only you, unless you choose otherwise. Analyses are private by default, isolated per organisation by row-level security in the database, and nothing is shared with a manager or anyone else until you explicitly share it.
Does SPECTRIA work in Arabic?
Not yet. Today it measures English. Arabic is the first item on the roadmap and the reason the company is being built in the Gulf, by a native speaker, rather than somewhere else. We would rather say that plainly than let you find out after you upload a recording.
What happens to my video?
It is stored encrypted, used to produce your analysis, and deleted when you delete it. You can export or erase your data at any time, and erasure removes the underlying media, not merely the row that points at it.
Do I need special equipment?
No. An ordinary laptop or phone recording is enough, no studio, no wearables, no second camera. If a channel cannot be measured from your recording, it is reported as absent rather than scored as zero.
How long does an analysis take?
Most analyses complete in under twenty minutes for a recording of ten to twelve minutes. You are emailed when it is ready, so there is nothing to sit and watch.
Can this be used to manage someone out?
It is built to do the opposite, and the design reflects that. SPECTRIA reports a route to a reachable standard rather than a pass mark, team figures are withheld until at least four people have been analysed so no individual's score can be recovered by subtraction, and every report carries the sentence that it measures delivery in one recording, not the person.
How much does it cost?
A monthly subscription is $20 for six full analyses, or an hour of recording, plus one analysis free every month. Teams start at $10 per user per month, and the first analysis is always free, with no card asked for.
How do credits work?
Every analysis is charged in credits, a standard analysis costs 3, a fast one costs 4, and accounts receive a monthly allowance of 15 credits, which is roughly five standard analyses. A credit is worth about $0.30 of compute, and the allowance tops back up to 15 every month without taking anything you have already been granted.
What happens if an analysis fails?
Nothing is charged and nothing is counted against your allowance. The credits are only settled when an analysis completes; a failed or cancelled analysis simply releases its hold, so you can try again with the same balance.
Can I buy more analyses right now?
Purchases are being piloted directly with the founder so the price reflects real usage rather than a guess. Until then, every account runs on its monthly allowance, and asking will get you a straight answer, not a queue.
