What SPECTRIA collects, why, how long it is kept, and the rights you hold over it.

Status: this notice describes the system as it is actually built, in plain language. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer, and will be before general availability. It is published now because describing the handling accurately is more useful to you than saying nothing until the wording is perfect.

The notice

What we collect

The recordings you submit, the measurements derived from them, and the account details needed to sign you in, your email address, your organisation, and your role in it.

Recordings contain your face and your voice. In several jurisdictions that is a special category of personal data, and it is treated that way here: it is collected only with your explicit per-recording consent, used only to produce your analysis, and never used to identify you anywhere else.

Why we collect it

To produce the analysis you asked for, and for nothing else. We do not profile you across services, we do not build an advertising profile, and we do not sell, share or license your data to anyone.

What we never do with it

Your recordings and analyses are not used to train or improve any model. They are not used as examples, demonstrations or marketing material. If we ever want to use something of yours publicly, we will ask, and the default answer costs you nothing.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it. There is no silent retention period after deletion: erasing an analysis removes the measurements and the source media together, not just the record pointing at them.

Who can see it

You, by default, and nobody else. Analyses are private until you share them explicitly. Within an organisation, access is enforced by row-level security in the database rather than by application code, and team-level views report aggregates only, withheld entirely until at least four people have been analysed, so no individual’s result can be recovered by subtraction. See security for the specifics.

Your rights

You can export your data, correct it, or erase it, at any time and without asking anyone. These controls are in your settings rather than behind a support request, because a right that requires permission is not a right.

If you are in the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with equivalent protections, you also hold the rights to object to processing, to restrict it, and to complain to your supervisory authority.

Processors we rely on

SPECTRIA runs on third-party infrastructure for hosting, database, object storage, transactional email and GPU compute. Each processes data only on our instructions and only to deliver the service. A current list is available on request, and will be published here before general availability.
