Everyone knows who explains things best. Nobody can say why
The team has someone whose updates land, whose pitches get questions rather than silence. Asking them how they do it produces advice nobody can act on, because they do not know either, it is pace, and pauses, and the fact that they stop talking after the point rather than three sentences later. None of that is visible until something counts it.
What a coaching conversation looks like afterwards
Instead of "you need to be more confident", which is advice nobody can act on and most people hear as criticism, the conversation starts from something countable.
- "Your pauses average four seconds where the team's strongest is under two", a fact, with a next step inside it.
- The person sees their own report first. It is theirs, and they choose whether to share the recording.
- Team views are aggregates only, withheld entirely until at least four people have recorded, so no individual's result can be recovered by subtraction.
- The manager sees measurements and coaching, never the video, unless the person hands it over.

What this is not, and will not become
The weakest link is a skill on a given day, not a person, and this product is built so that the distinction survives contact with an organisation.
- There is no ranking. No leaderboard, no "3rd of 12", no sorting people by score, a rank plus a team size lets somebody work out a colleague's number by subtraction.
- It is not used for hiring, firing, promotion or any assessment of a person. It measures how a message came across.
- A manager cannot see anybody's recording. They can ask for it; the person can ignore the request, and ignoring it is a complete answer.
- It measures delivery, not sincerity, mood or character. Nothing here is an opinion about what somebody felt.
